8. MCT OIL BASED TINCTURES. Cannabinoids are fat-soluble, meaning they break down and are stored in fat rather than water. Therefore, cannabinoids are most effective when consumed with fat because it increases the rate of absorption. We use MCT oil because it has a higher fat content than other oils, allowing the cannabinoids to move through the body and interact with the endocannabinoid system faster.
